Mumbai: Gopal Trasi’s first story compilation to be released on Mar 23

Mumbai, Mar 21:  Mumbai Chuki Sankula together with Karnataka Mumbai Sangha will release Gopal Trasi’s first story compilation ‘Katheyolagina Baduku’ on Saturday March 23, at Karnataka Sangha Mumbai’s Samarasa Bhavan in Matunga East.

Renowned story writer Dr Vasaraya Ninjooru, Dr GD Joshi will preside over the function. Famous critic, analyzer, poet Dr Girija Shastri will release the book.


Karunakar G Putran, former president of Mogaveera Mahajana Seva Sangha, Bagwadi Hobli will be the honorary president; the book will be published by Suvarnagiri Prakashana Mangalore. Story and drama writer Sadaya and famous theatre artist Ahalya Ballal will be reading out stories on the occassion.

Gopal Trasi has earlier written two poetry anthologies namely ‘Nelada Nakshatragalu and Bogarodeyuva Santhasada Kshanagalive’. He is the member of Chuki Sankalana. Presently he is working as officer in Union Bank of India, Mumbai.   

Mumbai Chuki Sankula, Karnataka Mumbai Sangha, Suvarnagiri Prakashana Mangalore and writer Gopal Trasi request all literature admirers to be present on this occasion.
