Bangalore, Apr 26: The two victims of the Malleswaram  bomb blast -- Rakshita and Leeza – who suffered grievious injuries in the April 17 bomb blast in front of State BJP office are recovering.

Both the girls, who were preparing for the PUC common entrance test (CET) examinations,  are still bed-ridden and unable to move out of their beds in the M S Ramaiah Hospital, according to a press release from the Medical Director of the Hospital Dr Naresh Shetty.

However, the courageous   girls have started preparing for the CET examination from their hospital beds.

The State Government, it may be recalled, has come forward to bear the full cost of hospitalization.

The Karnataka Examination Authority has  come forward to conduct examinations for the two girls in the hospital itself on the request of the parents of the girls and the management of the  hospital.

A team lead by Dr S P Kulkarni , Adminstartive Officer of Karnataka examination Authority, visited the hospital to ensure all arrangements were in place.

The hospital management has agreed to have a separate room and facilitate the examination.

The examination will be done as per the norms laid down.

The parents of both students have been taken in to confidence and they were very happy with the state government and the Karnataka Examination authority for coming forward to help their children.
