MANGALORE, Mar 25: More than 100 devotee delegates of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) from around 40 countries will converge here on Monday to participate in a march for universal peace and harmony.Revealing this to reporters here on Friday, programme convener Dr A Shankaranaryana Raj Urs said these devotees, who had participated in a mammoth programme at Mayapur, West Bengal at the middle of March this year, are on a tour in the country.

The team will be headed by member of Governing Body Commission for Karnataka and South India of ISKCON, Jayapataka Swamy.

The team will arrive in Shimoga at early hours on Monday and participate in a day long programme before proceeding to Udupi next day.

At 8:30 AM on Monday Jayapataka Swamy will deliver a religious discourse at Raghavendra Swamy Kalyan Mantap, Durgigudi.

At 10:30 AM he would participate in a discussion with the media and special invitees.

Later the devotees participate in a Nagar Sankirthan. Devotees go singing, chanting and dancing in the main streets of Shimoga. Procession will conclude at Kote Anjaneya Temple.

At 7:30 in the evening Jayapataka Swamy will give a religious lecture at Temple premises.
