Headed for splitsville - Anurag and Kalki?

Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Nov 13: Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin made a joint statement on Tuesday, about their mutual decision to take some time off from each other. The couple clearly said that they were not contemplating divorce at this stage but only to try and work through their differences and issues.

After falling in love on the sets of the movie Dev D, the couple married on April 20, 2011 at a quiet ceremony in Ooty. Though the couple hasn't said anything, it is speculated that they have been living separately for a while already. The 29 year old actress who is known for her movies such as Zindgi na milegi dobara, Ek thi Daayan and recently Yeh Jawani hai Deewani, was said to have been spotted at a literary event in Goa holding hands with a mystery man. Anurag Kashyap on the other hand is believed to be enamoured by his Gangs of Wasseyppur actress Huma Khureshi.

Although Huma and Anurag laughed off the rumours saying that it was merely a joke and there was no substance to the news, the fact remains that Anurag and wife of two years Kalki have not been seen attending any event together for quite a while now.

When questioned about the postponing of their honeymoon in 2011, Kalki had reportedly said that it was their love that kept them together and if they were not at the same social events together, it only meant that they were affording each other the necessary space.

Let's hope that's the case this time round, too.
