Anna Hazare to begin indefinite fast for Jan Lokpal Bill today

Ralegan Siddhi, Dec 10 (Agencies) : Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare would start another indefinite fast from Tuesday at his village here to press for Jan Lokpal Bill.

The Jan Lokpal Bill, also referred to as the Citizen's Ombudsman Bill, is an anti-corruption legislation drafted by civil society activists, seeking appointment of an independent panel to investigate cases of corruption.

Anna yesterday addressed a press conference and asked the Government to bring the Jan Lokpal Bill in the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament.

The social activist accused the Congress of betraying him and the people and said the government has repeatedly said that it will bring Ombudsman Bill, but never done so.

Anna further said that time has come for the UPA government to deliver on its promise or quit.

The social activist, who had shot into national limelight with his fasts in Delhi over the issue, has chosen Yadav baba temple in his native village Ralegan Siddi this time.

Recalling his earlier hunger fast in Delhi, Hazare said, "Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter saying that Government is ready to bring Janlokpal Bill and said please end your fast. I trusted her and I ended my fast."

“Two years have passed, since I agitated for the ombudsman bill, but the government has done nothing to get the bill passed in Parliament,” the social activist said.

The agitation would be under the banner of Jantantra Morcha, a new organisation launched by him after he dissolved the India Against Corruption (IAC) following parting of ways with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal.

We Indians cant stop corruption because every citizen is corrupt in one or other way. everyone is bizi accumulating money for himself. Our education is just teaching to make money and how to use law into your favor. Let others die I should survive. We fight for separate states, we fight for interstate borders, we fight for river water within us and we blame Pakistan is encroaching India. We don't know where is our border. Its not politicians who are responsible, every individual is embedded with this qualities of corruption which we can see in our daily life. We throw our garbage into others compound, similarly one party blames other, one department blames other one.it starts from our family then from society reaches parliament.
So its better to outsource our administration to Chinese or British may be they can do better than us.

I have already commented in the earlier news of Lokpaal and Janlokpal bills earlier.

Yet once again, Corruption will never stop by making laws.
The hearts of every citizens should make a law inside their hearts ‘I AM NOT TAKING AND GIVING CORRUPTION/BRIBE”
The reality: A couple of years before my driving license was expired. I took the form R.T.O., and he explained in short what to do. Once again I inquired an agent how much is the money for renewing license.
    Penalty 150 Agent’s fees 300 = 450
I went personally to government hospital and totally I spent rupees 560. THE ATTESTATION TO THE FORM FROM THE DOCTOR WERE ORIGINAL WHERE AS THE AGENT WILL MAKE THEIR OWN DUPLICATE ATTESTATIONS.
I spent more than half day.
Supposedly given to agent from the house only one telephone pay the money the driving license will be on your door step.

We have several laws perhaps the world nations will never be having such laws as we have. Are all those crimes are punished by law in India.

We need the citizens to mend their mind and hearts rather than.
The present situation is people need immediately without any delay SAME LIKE QUICK-BUCKS.

Anna is BJP agent. His fast will be a big failure without Arvind Kejriwal and team. Anna's present team is just useless. How weird it was when Kiran Bedi was suggesting AAP to support BJP to form the government in Delhi. It shows Anna team's game plan. It is good that AAP is not supporting Congress and BJP. Now Congress and BJP can join together and form the government in Delhi.

Anna you have lost your credibility
    after betraying arvind kejriwal.
Because of your cheap comments against AK could not form AAP govt in Delhi.Your earlier fast was successful because of AK.
Now you can go for fast till death.

    Dear Anna Hazareji,
It would have been better for you to support AAP whole heartedly,
    sweep the corrupt, communal and
    had your say in Govt.administration.
How many times you go on fast indefinitely?
It has become so common! Kindly
    do something different! You may
    go somewhere else even!
