Mangalore, Apr 24: This is one motor race Michael Schumacher would find hard to win. The Lions Club district 324 D-5 organised a unique reverse drive competition for two-wheelers and four-wheelers at open ground in Bejai on Sunday April 23.

The competition was inaugurated by A Sadanand Shetty, chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust. Kodialbail corporator Mariamma Thomas, Dr Manohar Upadhya of Animal Care Trust, Agnel Rodrigues, Lions district chairman for accident prevention, traffic rules and motor sports and Kripa Amar Alva graced their presence on the occasion.

The winners in the four-wheeler category were Sohil (first place), Zahir Manipadi (second place) and Ravi Purushotam and Nobert (third place).

In the ladies section, Suman Prem Kumar secured first place, while Kripa Amar Alva came second. Birosh, Arvind K P and Naveen stood first, second and third respectively in the slow vehicle race.
