Mangalore, Apr 27: Ever since the trimester system has been introduced in education, the students have lost interest for hard work.  Students no more try to get good marks rather are happy with the minimum marks they obtain.  Even the teachers are facing lot of problems since they have not been trained properly implement this system, said number of teachers who had gathered to discuss about the pros and cons of trimester system at the directorate of education.

Participating in the discussion on "Trimester System Education - A Review" held on Wednesday April 26.

Delivering the introductory note M Vasudev Rao said that trimester system offers re-examination which enables them to get pass marks easily.  "On the other hand teachers too do not have exact idea about the trimester system owing to lack of information and training,” he said.

Renni D'Souza, director Valored presided over the discussion.  B M Rohini welcomed the gathering and Savitri K compered the programme.
