Doesn't concern Congress, Dikshit on Binny remark

New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS): After Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Vinod Kumar Binny spoke of close ties between Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sandeep Dikshit, the Congress MP said Thursday that whatever he said "does not concern the Congress".

"I don't know what is the understanding between Binny and Kejriwal when he joined AAP and fought elections. It is really for them to sort out the ambitions of their people and how are they going to do it. It does not concern us," Dikshit told reporters.

Binny earlier in the day said there are close ties between Kejriwal and Dikshit and that decisions being taken by AAP are the directives of the Congress.

"AAP (is) an independent party. He (Arvind Kejriwal) is the chief minister of Delhi and is competent enough to take his own decisions. I think there is somewhere that Binny might be feeling that his ambitions are not being fulfilled by AAP," added Dikshit.
