Mumbai, May 15: Senior Police Inspector S Sankhe of the Malabar Hill police station has been placed under suspension in connection with police action on medical students agitating against reservation issue at Walkeshwar on Saturday.

Mumbai police commissioner A N Roy told PTI that orders of Sankhe’s suspension have been issued on Monday.
