Mangalore, May 16: Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore ordained 6 deacons at the Rosario Cathedral recently.
The newly ordained include Prakash Monteiro (Shirva), Anil D'Silva (Ammembal), Fredrick Monteiro (Panir), Rajesh Rosario (Kuppepadav), Victor D'Souza (Kundapur) and Austin Fernandes (Kallianpur).

The newly carved out Gulbarga diocese has all reasons to rejoice as 3 deacons from Mangalore ordained priests for the diocese by Bishop Robert Miranda recently. The ordination was held at St Sebastian's Church, Bendur.
Sunil Andrade (Kelrai), Rockey D'Souza (Permannur) and Stephen Veigas (Mogarnad) have come forward to serve in the new diocese.
Br Edwin Pinto of St Antony's Church Fermai was also ordained priest by Archbishop Bernard Moras at Fermai church recently.
