Mumbai Police chief quits, may join politics

Mumbai, Jan 31 (IANS): Mumbai Police Commissioner Satya Pal Singh said he has quit from the Indian Police Service and is considering a political career.

A home department official confirmed the developments Friday and said Home Minister R.R. Patil is yet to take any decision in the matter.
