New Delhi, May 20: Sushmita Sen will travel to Pakistan in September to help cricketer Imran Khan raise funds for his cancer hospital.
The actress confessed to being a big fan of the former cricketer for long.
"I have been a big fan of his (Imran Khan) throughout his career. And now, to be invited by him, especially for something that's so close to my heart, is a great honor for me," Sen said.
Her latest film was Chingari where she plays a prostitute who fights back to avenge her humiliation and exploitation.
Her meeting with Pakistan President Gen. Pervez Musharraf has also been planned.
Imran Khan, a former Pakistani cricketer and a politician, founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, a charity-based hospital in Karachi.
"It's a noble cause and I'll do whatever is within my capacity to increase cancer awareness," Sen said.
