Enter this killer sound room at your own risk!

London, Feb 5 (IANS): If you though the sound from your state-of-the-art head phones is not enough to make you groove, try this sound chamber. But go inside at your own risk as the sound may even kill you!

The European Space Agency (ESA) has built a huge sound chamber designed to test satellites.

The room subjects satellites to the same noise that a rocket launcher produces as it sends off satellites to the space.

The 36 feet wide, 54 feet tall and about 30 feet deep room is built inside the ESA's Large European Acoustic Facility (LEAF) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.

One side of the room has enormous sound horns embedded into it.

When nitrogen is shot through them, they can produce sound exceeding 154 decibels, which is like standing near several jets as they take off, said an ESA press release.

No human being could survive hearing it at maximum output, it added.

The room has steel-reinforced concrete walls coated with resin and rubber pads that help isolate the chamber from its surroundings.
