Bangalore, Jun 1: Junior doctors, who have been agitating against the Union Government's decision to provide 27 per cent reservation to OBCs in higher educational institutions by boycotting work in Government hospitals, joined duty today, following a fresh warning issued by the Supreme Court.

With the lone exception of Davangere, medicos attended work elsewhere in the State, including Bangalore, Hubli, Belgaum, Bellary, Manipal, Mysore and Gulbarga. Medical students too began attending classes throughout the State.

However, the medicos said their peaceful agitation against the Government's decision would continue until AIIMS took a decision for its withdrawal.

Junior doctors continued with their strike and refused to work in the OPD wards of Bapuji and CG hospitals in Davangere.

In Mysore, junior doctors entered the OPD wards after a gap of nearly ten days, but continued their relay hunger strike.
