Apr 20: The liturgical celebration of Easter began in Thokur Parish at 7 Pm. The main celebrant was Fr. Stany Fernandes,Professor of St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary, Bangalore. The Parish Priest, Fr. Richard Lasrado concelebrated the Mass. The people actively participated in the various parts of the Easter liturgy.
The main celebrant gave a touching homily on the ressurrection of Jesus as Christ. The people of the wards organised the liturgy of the Holy week especially by arranging the Church for the liturgy. The Choir members meticulously prepared the suitable hymns for the liturgy. It was a live experience of the participation of the laity in various activity of Church life.
