Delhi has sunny Wednesday, Thursday to be similar


New Delhi, April 23 (IANS): It was a warm, sunny Wednesday in the national capital and the maximum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 35.6 degrees Celsius. Similar weather conditions are expected Thursday, the Met Office said.

"The sky will remain sunny throughout the day tomorrow (Thursday) and the afternoon will be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 36 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.

Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 21.6 degrees Celsius.

The city experienced similar weather Tuesday when the maximum temperature was 36 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum settled at 20.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
