Warm day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, Apr 29 (IANS): It was a pleasant Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded two notches below the season's average at 22.6 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a warm day.

"The sky will be clear with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 35 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 39.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was three notches below the season's average at 21 degrees Celsius.
