Mangalore, Jun 25: The Saturday night’s heavy rain brought down a part of the hill at Yekkur to the road.
A major landslide which occurred during the wee hours of Sunday, Jun 25 affected the traffic on the Kerala Highway near the Fisheries College at Yekkur.
The land slid covered three fourth of the road with mud and shrubs and caused great inconvenience to the commuters and vehicles.
The continuing rain also played a spoilsport as the entire stretch of the road become non-motorable due to the mud deposit.
