Mangalore, Jun 29: In an effort to control the spread of malaria in the city, the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) health department has advised the public to prevent malaria by not letting water stagnate and by keeping the surroundings clean.

The MCC health department has also requested people suffering from fever, to undergo blood tests.

Those who are tested positive may approach malaria treatment centres located at MCC office, Lalbagh, Bejai clinic, Jeppu clinic, Bunder Unani hospital, Azizuddin road, Hotel Pentagon near Pumpwell circle and  government hospitals here between 3 pm and 8 pm.

The public may also contact the toll-free number 155313 for more details.
