Mangalore, Jun 30: Ever since the rainy season has started this year, many families living along shores at Kotekar, Ullal and surrounding areas are going nightmarish experience.  They are facing the wrath of the sea.  Each passing day has become like an era.  They live without knowing what would happen with their house, property and their very life on the next day.

Men and elders at home have spent sleepless night keeping a watch on the raging waves.  Sea erosion has been at his worst in this year and whatever the preventive measures taken in the previous years have gone in vain.

Several houses have been washed out, number of coconut trees have been engulfed the sea.  But none of these calamities have softened the concerned authorities.  They have a permanently turned a deaf ear to the problem.  Chief minister, district in-charge and even the new DC have visited the areas.  But nothing has changed even a bit.

As if to tell the sad state affairs of this problem, one more house on along the shore at Hilerinagar near Ullal was washed out on Thursday June 29 afternoon.  A RCC house owned by one Jayram Poojary collapsed completely on Thursday afternoon.
