Mangalore / Mumbai, Jul 12: Reports are trickling in regarding the possible death of a few more persons from Dakshina Kannada.


Ashok Ail

Death has been confirmed of Ashok Ail (39), hailing from Uppala check gate area in Kasaragod (earlier part of DK now in Kerala).

Bhujanga Shetty (44), of Hebri in Udupi district, died on his way between Dadar and Dahisar. His body was identified in Bhabha hospital.

Injured

Sukesh Shekar Amin (21), son of Shekar Guruvappa Amin of Pangala origin and now resident of Goregaon, has been injured and is in Sarala hospital.

Bhaskar Kotian, a retired bank official of Udupi-Kodavoor origin, is severely injured and is receiving intensive care.

Whenever more information  the injured is available, it will be published in these columns.

MISSING

Joseph Robert Noronha (56), commonly known as "Joy" to relatives, friends and acquaintances, an officer in Bank of Baroda and a part-time lecturer in Goregaon Night College, has been missing since the time of the blasts. But his diary is said to have been found on a platform after the blast. 

Brother of Austin, the late Harold, Celine and Irene, he was one-time resident behind Milagres College, Kallianpur, Udupi.

He is a regular commuter of ill-fated first class coach at 6 pm.
