Kasargod: Police arrest two thieves

Kasargod, June 12: The police team led by deputy SP Ranjith has arrested two thieves identified as Irfan(25) and Nasser(20), residents of Uppala Hidayat Nagara and Cherugoli Naya Bazar respectively.

Police have said that the arrested entered houses in Kumble, Pachambala, Varkady and so on and stole items. They are suspected to
have entered a doctor's house at Manjeshwar Kanwatheertha and stolen gold weighing five sovereigns.


They are also accused of having stolen gold weighing four sovereigns from a house near Manjeshwar factory, four sovereigns and Rs 50,000 from another house at Manjeshwar and two houses in Thokkottu.

While Nasser was arrested earlier for thefts, Irfan has been arrested for the first time.
