Delhi gurdwara official held for molesting woman employee

New Delhi, June 30 (IANS): A 54-year-old general manager of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has been arrested here on charges of molesting a woman employee of the organisation, police said Monday.

Harjeet Singh was arrested a few hours after the woman, in her 30s, filed a police complaint Sunday at the Parliament Street police station.

The woman, who has been working at the Rakabganj gurdwara for a few years, said she was molested by Singh June 21.

"Singh would use abusive language while talking to her and with other employees," said a police official, quoting the woman's complaint.

Singh has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
