Daijiworld Media Network — Udupi (HB)

Udupi, Jul 1: The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) held a meeting on Monday June 30 at Vajpayee Auditorium, Rajathadri.

A total of 30 KSRTC buses have been released to Udupi city under the NARMA scheme. Private bus owners expressed their objection about the releasing of new buses and stressed the need for conducting a route survey.

Rajesh, defense lawyer of KSRTC, said that it was not essential. After a long discussion held between the private bus owners, lawyers and KSRTC institutions, the DC gave the verdict that he would take further steps and soon after the route survey, in the next meeting, he would finalize the status of the remaining applications.

There are 305 issues that have been mentioned in the index. Boralingaiah, district police superintendent and Arun Kumar Singh, RTA, were among those present.

Don't listen to these buggers. they don't want people to get the alternates. If govt busses are deployed, these will loose their revenue which they are gaining now, killing so many innocents. They have reached extreme and drivers are like ravans on road just because of the support from these people so called bus owners. It's enough now. Why the hell they should agree to deploy KSRTC busses yaar. This is like asking a criminal whether he should be arrested or not. His response will obvious be NO. so, don't listen to these buggers. Deploy as much as possible Govt busses, especially between Mangalore and Udupi. then only these evil bodies so called private bus drivers as well as these owners will learn a lesson. We lost thousands of innocent people because of these bas..rds.
