DK Police can proudly show that proactive policing has gone a long way in detecting large number of offences under counterfeiting and drug peddling during the current year.
Due to frequent interaction and proper support given by district police to the deprived sections of the society, the atrocity cases for the current year have reduced by more than half as compared to the first half of previous year.
But all it not a rosy picture for the DK police. A great cause of concern however is that offences against women have shown an increasing trend as compared to the previous year.
