VHP to celebrate golden jubilee

New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS): The VHP, launched on the occasion of Janmashtami in 1964, announced Monday it will begin a year-long golden jubilee celebrations Aug 17.

"All 150 VHP units in Delhi will take out 'shobha yatras'," Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state chief Rikhab Chand Jain told the media.

The VHP will organise a "Virat Hindu Sammelan" Feb 22 next year, he said.
