Bangalore, Sep 1: A programme to address the problems faced by Minority Educational Institutions and releasing of the monthly magazine "School" was held at the Worker's Centre at Nandidurg Road here on Thursday August 31.
Puttana, MLC of teachers' constituency released the magazine.

Fr Sunith Prabhu, S.J., addressed the problems faced by the educational institutions managed by minorities in the State. Mr. Basavaraj Horatti, minister for primary and secondary education promised the house that a solution to all these problems would be sought out soon. 

The minister also honoured 15 teachers of St. Antony's Church School, Gangondanahalli, Bangalore, for the 100% attendance during the last academic year and said that these teachers are role model to all teachers.

Joseph Rodricks, the editor of the magazine and retired joint director welcomed the gathering. Michael Noronha, professor of Mount Carmel College proposed the vote of thanks and compeered the programme.
