Kasargod: Youth arrested for spreading rumors in social media

Kasargod, Aug 23: Kumble station police have arrested Mohammed Rafik (32), a resident of Charladka for spreading rumors in the social media. He has been arrested on receipt of complaint from Shahul Hammed, a resident of Bambrana.

Investigations revealed that Mohammed Rafik was accused of misusing the pictures of Shahul Hameed, a mosque Khatib.

The accused was arrested by the police on orders of Kasargod Police Commissioner Thomson and Kumble station Circle Inspector K P
Suresh Babu.
