Kasargod: Lineman dies after being hit by lorry

Kasargod, Aug 27: A lineman in Kunjathur on National Highway was knocked down fatally by a lorry on Tuesday evening August 26.

The deceased identified as Francis Crasta (54) was a resident of Talapady Mariashram Church vicinity. He was a daily wage lineman worker of Manjeshwar Electricity board. The lorry hit him when he was on the way home after work. Though local people rushed him to the hospital, he succumbed to injuries on the way.

He worked as a lineman for the last several years. Hailing from Paivalike Ambikana, he was residing in Talapady for the last few years.
