Aug 28: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally given the world the much anticipated, highly speculated and most importantly very happy news of getting married in France on Saturday, as reported by a spokesperson for the couple.

Brad Pitt (50) wed Angelina Jolie (39) at a private, civil ceremony at Chateau Miraval according to Associated Press (AP). The couple had met while filming for Mr and Mrs Smith. Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time.

The couple is believed to have wed with their children in attendance as well as part of the ceremony. Maddox (13) and Pax(10) walked Angelina down the aisle while Zahara (9) and Vivienne (6) acted as flower girls while Shiloh (8) and Knox (6) were ringbearers.

The family affair was presided over by a California judge who flew down to France for the marriage ceremony. This is Angelina's third marriage while it the second for Brad Pitt. The couple have been together for the past 9 years.

They are all set to sizzle on screen together again. This time in the movie 'By the Sea@ written and to be directed by Jolie.
