Muscat, Sep 13: Most party goers and fun lovers from India will be seen swaying and grooving at the annual Bandra Fest to be held on Thursday (14.09.2006) at a local hotel.

The annual Bandra Fest initially was meant for the Mumbai crowd who loved to have some fun but now it includes all the party animals of Muscat, which includes, Goans, Bombay Goans and people from most of the coastal Konkan strip.

For the music and dance lovers in Muscat who miss the vibrant party scene found in Dubai always look forward to such treats which come their way once in a way.

“GoAfrica”, a four-piece band is expected to belt up some catchy mix of music to keep the crowd in the mood all through the party.

The foursome GoAfrica band, according to some party enthusiasts, is very good and has the capability to keep everyone rocking.

The music group which played at last year’s Bandra Fest was apparently not up to the mark and many people had felt let down, says Calvin who has been religiously attending the Bandra Fest for the past few years.

But GoAfrica with Croyden Menezes (bass guitar/vocals), Sebastian Almeida (lead vocals/guitar), Shyline Frank (lead vocals) and Cliffy D’Silva (keyboards/backing vocals) is expected to play the works ranging from jazz, country & western, rock and evergreen oldies.

Since the past one year, GoAfrica has been entertaining the crowds in weddings, corporate shows dances and even special events in Muscat.

There are exciting prizes to be won at the party which includes return tickets to India. A sumptuous buffet is also laid out for the gourmets.

The Bandra Fest is being held at The Majan Continental Hotel, located in Bowshar, close to the Royal Hospital in Muscat.

Bandra to Bhatinda is passé. It is now Bandra to Bowshar.
