Karkala: Dead body of elderly man found in well

Karkala, Sep 5: A dead body of an elderly man was found in a well at Hirgana Kasarakatte here on Friday, September 5. 

The deceased is identified as Obayya Poojary (55).  He had gone out from the house at about 3.30 pm and had not returned home even after nightfall. When searched, his body was found in the well about one and a half furlong away from the house which did not have a wall around it.

A case in this regard has been registered in the local town police station.
