Delhi, Oct 10: “Motisaibeenche Fest”, was celebrated with great devotion and gaiety by Konkani Catholic Community in South Delhi. Away from Native place but love for Mother Mary and the deep inscribed tradition by our elders encouraged us to celebrate the feast in full devotion and tradition. In 2004 few Konkani speaking Catholic families of South Delhi filled with Mother Mary’s devotion and love felt the desire to celebrate Motisaibeen fest. They expressed their wish and desire to Fr Jerome Sequeira (SJ), Fr Vincent Crasta, Fr John Monteiro, who encouraged and offered First Holy Mass and thus we had our first Motisaibeenche Fest in Konkani in Septemebr 2004.
