The band, which was performing in Mangalore on an invitation by Jesus Youth, once again proved as why it is often referred as the king of Catholic bands.

The live Rex Band concert on the open grounds in the St Aloysius College campus was a delicious pudding of music that the Mangaloreans were waiting for.

Thousands of young and old who gathered to witness one of the best ever music shows in the history of Mangalore would surely remember this for decades and would also thank Jesus Youth in the same breath for giving this rare opportunity to them.

This is the second Rex Band show in Mangalore and people flocked in to witness this masterpiece of music and praise and worship.

It was as if all the roads were leading to St Aloysius Grounds on Monday evening.  The well-known faces of the band, Alphonsus on the lead guitar, Stevan Devassy on keyboard, Cajetan on drums, singers C C Joseph, Bina Manoj, Shelton Pinheiri and others delivered perfect blend of music and singing taking the crowds to crescendo.

While claps rained in for every hymn, people were seen joining with the group for action songs and foot-tapping numbers of praise.  Rex Band which has conquered the nook and corners of the globe, proved why they are rated so highly for quality.
