Puttur, Nov 7: Reliable sources have said that the narco-analysis conducted on Abdul Sattar, accused of murdering Akshata on July 6 on the outskirts of the city, has revealed that he was the only person involved in the act.

After obtaining court clearance, Sattar was taken to the forensic laboratory in Bangalore by a team the local police led by the station house officer Mukund Nayak on November 4.

Sattar was made to undergo polygraphy, brain-mapping and narco-analysis, said informed sources. His disclosures during the test have ruled out the possibility of any other person or persons' involvement in the alleged crime.

Wild rumours in the matter had been in circulation, with names of many persons being mentioned as having been involved. The confirmation of this report is likely to settle the matter.
