Nov 15: As an exceptional gesture to celebrate and commemorate the Suvarna Rajyotsava (completion of 50 years of formation of the greater Karnataka state), the Sharjah Karnataka Sangha has come out with a special greeting post card reflecting the rich culture, heritage, place and personalities of the state in a brilliant conceptual form.

This masterpiece of a greeting card is the brainchild of president Ganesh Rai – an exponent of colourful art in this part of the world.

The 'Cheluva Kannada Nadu' card was released recently in Mysore Palace Hotel, Sharjah by president Rai and his dedicated committee members.

Sharjah Karnatka Sangha is the juniormost of all the Sanghas in the Emirates. Since its inception, the sangha has been presenting activities depicting the tradition and culture of Kannada in one way or the other. This deep-rooted commitment has been appreciated by lovers of Karnataka.
