Dhaka, Jan 5 (IANS): Ahead of the scheduled political rallies in Bangladesh's capital city, all Dhaka-bound buses and ferries from across the country were prohibited Monday to prevent any untoward incident.
The measure was undertaken to thwart any incident in the wake of the ruling and opposition parties' plans to hold programmes or rallies, defying police ban imposed Sunday, bdnews24.com reported.
