Panaji, Feb 10: Around 300 computer teachers came on the road in the capital city to protest and to remind the government the promises which were made to them by the education minister Luizinho Faleiro months ago.

President of the All Goa Computer Teachers Association Nilesh Naik stated that 2 years ago the government had promised to regularize their service in the schools (now on contract) and also provide them with a proper road map, but nothing was done in this regard and hence they were forced to come on the road once again.

The computer teachers have now given the government a time-frame of 15 days in which the government has to take a step in regularizing their services, failing which the computer teachers would be forced to agitate and hold various protest rallies throughout the state.

Workers union leader Christopher Fonseca and various other leaders from the All India Trade Union Congress guided the teachers during the rally and the meeting held on the aAad maidan in the capital city.
