Kundapur, Mar 6: Fr Wilfred Gonsalves has been a parish priest for the 33 years and recently celebrated his diamond jubilee recently. The members of the Pius Nagar parish organized a function to celebrate this occasion.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Vicar Forane Kundapur Varado Fr Antony Lobo said that Fr Wilfred was always seen interacting with all sections of the society and reflecting in them the values of humanity.


 
 

The chief guest John Crasta welcomed the gathering and praised Fr Wilfred who worked   in parishes including Agrar, Modankaup, Madiyanthar, Kokada, Perampalli, Bejai,Trasi and Katapadi

Monthu Fernandes, Archibold Quadros, Sr Sylvina and others wished Fr Wilfred Gonsalves. On behalf of the parish fraternity of Puis Nagar Fr Wilfred Gonsalves was felicitated with a shawl, fruits and a citation. Present on the dais were priests of all the churches of Kundapur ward.

 

 

The vice president the administrative council of the church Wilfred D’Souza welcomed the gathering.

The Principal of St Mary’s P U College Fr Prakash Cutinho compered the event.  The Secretary Administrative Council Leena Tauro delivered the vote of thanks.

Over 2,000 people attended the progamme.
