Tiatr ‘Khorench, hanv fattim pavlom’  (Yes, I was late)

Abu Dhabi, May 7: It’s Menino de Bandar presenting his stunning tiatr, one of Goa’s traditional stage performance in Abu Dhabi on 08th June 2007. This is a second event of tiatr in Abu Dhabi after a successful show from Roseferns in April 2006. Tiatr a traditional enacted musical drama on issues of family and social life in Goa depicted in a lucrative presentation in act, music and comedy. The show has been organized by a group of Abu Dhabi based Goans for a second consecutive year.

Applauded as the ‘King of double Centuries’ in his tiatr performance, Menino de Bandar the writer and director of the tiatr promises to still rule the stage and entertain in this tiatr titled – ‘Khorench, hanv fattim pavlom’ meaning Yes, I was late. A real treat for a pleasant get-together for the Konkani speaking community – Goans, Mangaloreans and Bombayites. The troupe comprises of 16 artists from Goa including the traditional musicians. The show promises high level of stage professionalism by its cast like Osvi Viegas, Anthony San, Felcy, Anotnette de Candolim and hilarious comedy by Janet to name a few.

This tiatr is one the seasons leading performance which has thrilled Goans back home in the land of sea, sand and sun – Goa, which will be staged for the Konkani speaking community in Abu Dhabi on 8th June 2007, at the Sudanese Social Club at 3.30 pm. The same show will be staged on 7th June 2007 at 9.00 pm at Al Nasr Leisureland in Dubai.
