Karnataka PU Results out - DK Tops, Bidar Stays Last

Bangalore, May 17: The much-awaited results of the Karnataka PU Board were announced on Thursday May 17 evening.  As usual this year too girls have overtaken boys.

Dakshina Kannada district, with a total percentage of 80.33 has topped the results while Bidar has stayed at the bottom with 20.30 per cent.

The results were announced by PU Board director S G Hegde on Thursday evening.

Shimoga district with 98 per cent has topped in Science category while Bangalore rural topped the Commerce section with 97.6 per cent and Dharwad remained at the top in Arts category with 94 per cent.

Students from rural areas and those from Kannada medium have come out with flying colours and have fared better than their urban counterparts, said S G Hegde.
