Sullia, May 23: The sudden death of Charles D'Souza of Kadepal near Kallugundi has given rise to number of questions and none of them have yet been answered properly.

Charles was found dead in Payaswini river at Magdara near Chembu here.  Family sources said that he had gone to cut a tree to Radhakrishna Bhat's house at Belembi.  But he did not return on that night.  On the next day however, he was found dead in the river.  A tree which is said to have been cut by Charles was seen at a close distance.

But several persons have expressed doubts about his death.  Though some claimed that he was suffering from epilepsy, family sources have denied this.  But nothing is yet known since the autopsy reports have not been received by the police.

However, locals say that there could be some kind of foul play behind the death of Charles and that a detailed enquiry must be initiated to bring out the truth.
