Mangalore: Music Album of Tulu Movie 'Badi' Released

Mangalore, Jul 2: The music album of the under-production Tulu movie 'Badi' (Dowry) has been released in the city.
At a function held in the Town Hall, city-born multi-lingual music director Guru Kiran released the CD. Speaking on the occasion, he wished all success to Richard Castelino's new venture, who already has the credit of making several movies in Kannada, Tulu and Konkani.
Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy president M Sitaram Kulal, Richard Castelino, producer Raymond Quadros, film's hero Ravishankar, Sheelanjan, heroine Haripriya, Preeti, Jyotilakshmi, Tulu playwright and director Devadas Kapikad, entrepreneur Madhukar Malli, Nityananda Shenoy Karkala, theatre personality Navin D Padil and others were present on the occasion.
The film's technicians and lyricists and others were honoured on the occasion. Rag Dev, music director of the film and Ramesh Chandra, playback singer, were also felicitated.
Dance performances by Bhargavi troupe from Udupi and musical presentation by 'Nenapirali' troupe were the highlights of the entertainment programme.
Manjula Subrahmanya and Sundar Hegde compered the programme.
