Mumbai, Sep 19: “The Sayyad Madani Charitable Trust teaches worldly affairs besides religion,” said U S Hamza, president, Sayyad Madani Darga Samithi. He was speaking at a ‘Teacher’s Day’ celebration organized by Halekote Sayyad Madani Urdu Aided Higher Primary School, Sayyad Madani High School, and old students on Friday September 18.

“I am glad that old students have joined to celebrate ‘Teacher's Day’. Identifying and felicitating retired teachers is a noble task. If a student becomes an engineer or a doctor, it is because of the
teachers. Teaching is noble profession,” he said.

Retired teacher Kamalaksha and others were honoured on the occasion. Kamalaksha, retired teacher, Madani Educational Institute, speaking on the occasion, said that he has been able to be lovable to the students. “Students come looking for me even after retirement. My life has been fulfilling,” he said.
