Gold price closes down

Hong Kong, Oct 13 (IANS): The gold price in Hong Kong went down 70 HK dollars to close at 10,700 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,158.94 a troy ounce, down $7.58 at the latest exchange rate of $one against 7.75 HK dollars.
