I have seen in cemeteries and grave yards fire starts by itself. When I was a kid I was wondering how it is possible? But today I have the answer.of course not from my pocket. U believe it or not I don't care.!!! Human bones are rich in phosphorus which has got a tendency to catch fire even for high sunlight.when digging graves in graveyard these old bones are exposed to open air and thus may catch fire.

I can't believe that a fire started so fast and destroyed 100 acres 0f land. It is a terrible loss to the owners and also the workers who worked there. Something went wrong somewhere and did this destruction. The police department should investigate and find out the cause of this wildfire. I have heard of wildfire in some parts of US where thousands of acres of land and luxury homes are destroyed. God should help these people to be back in business even though it will take a long time.

@J.N.Lobo,Mumbai,we cant say fire cant start from ist own.Now the climate has so changed, when grass is dry,and hot sun rays Focus on it works like a fire maker .automatically fire starts. But as you say might be some cigarette rest or beedi thrown on dry grass, might catch fire.sometimes These coolie workers make fire to cook and with wind, might flew elsewhere.Rubber trees are very good material to burn.whatever the cause is,loss is enorm and burns the stomach when all the work has gone with wind.(fire)Such a large amount of area is burnt means ,many have lost their existence.Electric wires,or any other fire must have certainly started.so sorry. In America too and in Australia also fire starts from alone when dry is.

    Hello Madam,
30 - 35 degree centigrade heat is not sufficient to ignite dry grass.
