Kundapur: Pascal Nite adds charm to Easter festivity, CD released

Kundapur, Mar 28: As part of the Easter festive celebrations, Holy Rosary Church premises witnessed the second Pascal D'Souza Nite and the release of his music CD on Sunday March 27 evening.

Parish priest of Tannirbavi Church, Fr Alban Rodrigues, in a formal programme released ‘Ye Moga Cinderella', a music CD by Pascal D'Souza.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Alban said, "One should have ambition to achieve something and work hard for it. Though there are talented people among us, we have to create sufficient opportunities for them to showcase their talents. The achievement of Pascal D'Souza is an example to society."

Parish priest of Holy Rosary Church, Fr Anil D'Souza said, "The community members should participate in large numbers in Konkani programmes such as this and encourage artistes so that they may grow."

The musical nite that was held after the stage programme rocked the evening and kept the audience glued to their seats. ICYM students presented a cultural programme that was much appreciated by the crowds. Mooru Muthu artistes enthralled the audience with rib-tickling comedy.

Fr Alban Rodrigues was felicitated on the occasion. Principal of St Mary's PU College Fr Pravin Amruth Martis, assistant parish priest, Fr Prakash Paul, parish pastoral council vice-president, Johnson Almeida, secretary Felcian D'Souza and Pascal D'Souza were present. 

Vineetha D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Vincent Alva compered the programme.
