Bangalore, Oct 9: Residents' Welfare Association of Bangalore East, popularly known as 'REWABE', held its annual general meeting during the earlier week in Don Bosco Provincial hall in Cooke town here.
The following were elected office bearers for the year 2007-2008.
President - K P Abraham
Vice President - Jessie Rodrigues
Secretary - Vivek Menon
Treasurer - Gilbert Pinto
REWABE is committed to improving the quality of life of the residents by implementing a time-bound agenda, including restoration and rehabilitation of roads and sidewalks, 'Zero Tolerance' garbage programme, street lighting programme, maintenance of parks, sensitive approach to increased stray-dog population etc.
