Congratulations Melvyn, a very well deserved award conferred.
Almost completed reading the essays or short stories from 'Ugthem Mon' are outstanding some were so touching where I wept and at times made me to laugh. You have expressed your views and opinions on certain subjects which are very true. Your command over Konkani language is too good. All the best Melvy.

Porath Ek Pavtim - A masterpiece from Eddie Sequeira.

It is our Dubaiwalas privilege and good luck that we get to see such high quality dramas. Some time back it was Bhangar Monis, Kalakul's Bomma, Melya Upranth, Chintnan Sobdan and then Vishenthiche baav and so many other top
rated acts like Ami Nathallya .... I will have to re-phrase Melwyn Baab's observation - when this land has given us opportunity to relish such great plays in our mother tongue here how can we say we are not in Mangalore ? I am bit confused. A big salaam to people working behind the scenes.

Denis Monteiro's acting - par excellence fully complemented by Eddyab's and Asumptha Pais' superb theatrical skills and the apt (and I mean it) background score all took us to entirely different planet. Oh no, its not Mars, not Venus (we have been there many a time). Its somewhere out of this Solar System. It takes a dedicated regime of practice sessions and an intrinsic memory power to perform that way. And no one to beat these 3 artistes in this area. Some of the scenes were indeed surrealistically sublime.

And then there was the pleasant dose of those nostalic compositions from MM which even today we yearn to hear and watch - live on stage that is.

Next Friday I am heading to St. Mary's grounds. Don't ask me why. I'm asking why you don't ?

Till then ...Daiji Dubai ki Jai !

LIFE IS BUILT ON HOPES & ASPIRATIONS. TO ME MELVYN IS ALWAYS IN THE LOOK OF INSPIRATION. SINCERE, HUMBLE, SOFT, SIMPLE, WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATIONS. HE DOES HIS JOB. VERY Rare TO FIND SUCH PERSONALITY. GREAT THINKER & SOME TIME I WONDER SUCH A JEWEL BORN IN OUR BACKWARD COMMUNITY/SOCIETY. THAT`S IT MAKE ME TO FEEL PROUD ON HIM ALWAYS. THAT`S WHAT HE IS. HE IS BISHMA IN OUR SOCIETY. IT IS OUR MISTAKE... WE NEVER THOUGHT OF HONOUR DOCTORATE TO HIS GURU... LATE MR.CHAPRA. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT IS USUALLY BORN OF GREAT SACRIFICES. SOME TIME BACK I TOO HAD GOOD TIMES & LIFE. BUT, TODAY SOME ONE ELSE IS DECIDING ON MY LIFE. SO FUNNY. I DONT GIVE UP WHEN IT COMES TO CHALLENGES. THAT`S MY WEAKNESS BUT OUR USELESS SOCIETY NAMED ME WITH MANY DEGREES....WAAW...! WHAT A GREAT SOCIETY....(?)...? WHAT A PEOPLE....? TRUTH IS ALWAYS BITTER & STRAIGHT TREES ARE CUT FIRST. ENOUGH I THINK. LIFE IS A CONTINUES FLOW OF EXPERIENCES. GOOD LUCK MELVYN BAB. LIVE TODAY...TOMORROW WE DONT KNOW. CONGRATULATIONS....!!!

Congratulations Melvyn. Your work is outstanding!
The drama was too good. Two actors and one actress captivated audience. Unique concept filled with trill and humor made the evening worthy.
