Mumbai, Oct 21: Gowda Saraswath Brahmins (GSB) Sabha, Dahisar celebrated purchase of new land by planting new saplings at Borivali maidan, here recently.
GSB Sabha has taken over a recreational ground near N L Complex and the said programme was inaugurated by the local MLA Gopal C Shetty by planting a sapling.
On this occasion, local Shiva Sena divisional member Gopalkar, local Corporator Balachandra Mathre and as special guests Aravind Rao, Dinesh Pai, M V Kini, V R Kamath, Krishna Bhat, Jayanthi Vaishnava graced the occasion.
The programme began with a devotional Omkar Swaroop Bajan sung by Ruthuj Lad.
The organizer of the programme Manohar Kamath thanked the gathering.
